School Age Teacher | Greenwood
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking an After-School & Summer Camp Teacher for our top-rated preschool in Greenwood located at 1104 Grace Street. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!
Pay rate: $14 to $17 per hour, based on experience & education.
Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

After-School Duties During the School Year:
Establish and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
Support each child’s social and emotional development
Establish positive and effective family relations
Share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
Pick up children from elementary schools and transport to center in a small bus.
Summer Camp Duties:
Plan outdoor activities or sports for groups of campers.
Lead recreational and educational activities, such as swimming or crafting.
Educate campers through games and explorations.
Make sure all safety rules are followed.
Safely transport children to/from field trip in small bus.
Requirements
Must be at least 21-years-old with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 6 months of experience working in licensed childcare required.
ECD 101 or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Energetic and positive personality.
