This Position is for a Mental Health Therapist with a social services organization with opportunity in Greenwood, MS. Within the MYPAC program, will be available to provide in-home therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, and specific therapies to address trauma and substance abuse, if needed. Primary Service Coordinators provide intensive care coordination and help the families to build support teams consisting of natural and formal supports. Organization MYPAC also offers psychiatric evaluation and medication management services through board-certified psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Responsibilities: Usually conduct 12-15 sessions per week; Sessions may be individual, family, or marriage therapy depending on what the family desires (therapists also receive training in EBPs as necessary to provide specialized therapies - TFCBT/ACRA); Provide crisis intervention and crisis response services 24 hours / 5 days with rotating weekends; Sessions take place in the familys home and community; Develop and implement treatment plans; Attend child and family team meetings; Weekly meetings include: group supervision, individual supervision, and clinical consultation. Qualifications and Requirements: Eligible for DMH certification and/or professional licensure; Master's Degree in a social services discipline is required, Degrees that can be considered include: Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy, Other degrees will have to be evaluated further to determine if they meet the qualifications; At least One (1) year of experience working in mental health; Experience working with youth and their families is preferred; Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; Basic computer knowledge; Ability to maintain a flexible schedule; Must have a valid drivers license; Must be able to work a Fifty (50) hour work week.
