The onsite , Field Service Technician, Global Field Services will be responsible for ensuring that client-related technical issues are resolved in a quick and proper manner for our Greenville, NC site. The onsite , Field Service Technician, Global Field Services will require significant interaction with internal clients, IT associates, and third-party service providers. Position requires a strong bias towards service, quality, and customer satisfaction. Within the Catalent network, we offer a broad range of integrated formulation and analytical services to solve difficult development and manufacturing challenges.
The Role:
Responds directly to clients regarding routine requests in a timely manner
Assists colleagues in providing counsel to others on complex issues; aids in the development of strategies for achieving client goals
Open to working outside of normal operating hours due to projects, outages or other IT emergencies
Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant direct technical support experience, preferred
Associate degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant direct technical support experience, preferred
High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant direct technical support experience, required
Excellent understanding of personal computers, peripherals & associated accessories. Solid understanding of personal computing applications (MS-Office 365, Teams, Visio, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent working knowledge of networks and server infrastructure
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
