Job Title: Occupational Therapist
We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention team! This position is a contracted position integral to Achieva's Early Intervention department's success in providing infants and children with an intellectual disability various supports and resources and continue to maintain Achieva's continued success.
A minimum of a Bachelors degree based around Occupational Therapy is a MUST HAVE. Experience in OT is helpful.
This will be a contract position that allows the employee to choose their own hours/appointments, making this position possible to be full-time or part-time. This position will be easy to work around any schedule!

Minimum requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy or a related degree is a Must Have.
- Ability to travel around Westmoreland County. Will have the opportunity to choose based on location.
Travel:
Must have means of transport to meet with families face to face across various counties. WILL BE ABLE TO CHOOSE BASED ON LOCATION.
Position Description
This position will conduct developmental assessments, develop individual program plans, and provide occupational therapy to infants and toddlers within the context of established practices via our Early Intervention department.
Job Responsibilities - Highlights
- Support the achievement of children and family outcomes.
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in assessing the development of developmentally delayed children in all areas of development.
- Writes assessments, identifies children's strengths and needs, and makes recommendations for IFSP outcomes and interventions.
- Establish rapport with the child and family and help facilitate relationships.
- Maintains ongoing contact with the Associate Director of Early Intervention along with coordinating with other staff.
