Position Title: Provisional Senior Custodian
Anticipated Location: Ransom Road Complex 3:00PM - 11:00PM
Anticipated Starting Date: ASAP
Salary: $24.59/HR Per SRP Contract
Qualifications:
Candidate must be in Senior Custodian title or eligible for promotion from a Senior Custodian Civil Service list.
Graduation from High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years experience in commercial cleaning practices or general building maintenance which includes experience in either carpentry, electrical, HV & AC or plumbing; OR six years (6) experience in commercial cleaning or general building maintenance, including experience in either carpentry, electrical, HV & AC systems, plumbing; OR an equivalent combination of above.
Possession of a valid Class D NYS driver's license.
Duties:
Supervises and participates in cleaning, moving
furniture and equipment, cutting grass, removing snow and
other ground maintenance. Makes minor repairs and
operates boilers. Trains new employees and evaluates
work performance. Performs other duties as required by
the supervisor. Positive evaluations. Proven ability to
interact with faculty/staff, students and parents.
