Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator for our 2nd and 3rd shifts, from 3-11 pm and 11 pm - 7 am.
This position involves operating CNC and Hydromat machines for the automotive industry. The operator will be responsible for running the machines, with training provided. The role includes reading job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements, reading and applying part specifications, work instructions, routings, and process control plan prints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts. The operator will also change and record tooling as specified on tool change charts, safely load specified bar stock into machines, and work with set-up personnel and engineering to solve machine problems when necessary.
Operate CNC and Hydromat machines for the automotive industry.

Change and record tooling as specified on tool change charts.
Safely load specified bar stock into machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be able to determine a good part vs. a bad part.
Must be able to use a micrometer.
Experience in a CNC facility is preferred but training will be provided.

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature-controlled and well-lit, with machines lined up in an organized manner. Overtime is worked during the week and on weekends, typically averaging 50-55 hours per week, with every other weekend off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Lake, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
