Seeking a Production Manager with experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry for an immediate direct hire opening in the greater Nashville, TN area.

responsibilities:
Empowers teams with a managerial style that is collaborative, inclusive and balanced in approach to achieve commitments. Identifies and eagerly shares and leverages best practices across the business as appropriate.
Provides leadership and employee development through selection/talent acquisition, performance management, training/development, coaching/mentoring and motivation of management, supervisory and hourly employees in alignment with the business goals and objectives. Recognizes and rewards employees for their efforts to drive results.
Create safe, clean work environment to ensure worker safety. A clean work environment is also required to promote quality and efficiency. Manages '5 S' process.
Ensure product quality through proper work methods, process controls, inspection standards, and training techniques. Establishes quality measures in the workplace and communicates results.
Meets and exceeds planned productivity improvements to improve added value per person. Monitors manpower and training plans to maintain area targets. Supports PM plans to minimize equipment downtime and improve cycle times.
Accomplishes these goals by working to a high ethical standard and consistently complies with all company policies, work rules and applicable laws with little to no direct supervision.
