Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
Seeking 2 heavy equipment operators to perform grading and reclaim work on a solar project. Individuals will work on basins, pads, roadway, and trenching. Operators will be working up to a D5 bulldozer and a 305 or 321 excavator.
Responsibilities
Perform grading and reclaim work on basins, pads, roadway, and trenching.
Operate heavy equipment, including D5 bulldozer and 305 or 321 excavator.
Conduct excavation and civil construction tasks.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
Essential Skills
4+ years of civil heavy equipment operation (HEO) experience.
4+ years of experience with D5 bulldozer, 305 or 321 excavator.
OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Solar project experience is a plus.

Work Environment
150 MW solar project. Working on the civil scope. Work clothing worn on-site. Monday - Saturday 10-hour shifts. Working in the elements. Per diem is $118 per day.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Gloucester, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
