Job Title: QA/QC SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking QA/QC Specialists for a full-time, onsite role at the VAI Resort Project. This position reports to the Project Management team and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and understand interior design and architectural drawings.
Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications.
Perform basic quality control inspections of materials and workmanship.
Identify and report any safety hazards or discrepancies to the Project Engineer.
Assist with surveying and setting out finish schedules.
Prepare and maintain progress reports and documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on logistics and deliveries.
Assist with resolving minor issues and answering questions from workers.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience as a QA/QC admin or document specialist.
Experience working for a general contractor or subcontractor.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, MS Projects, and PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of Bluebeam (Revu) for documentation purposes on drawings.
Understanding of construction drawings.
Proficiency in quality control inspection procedures.
Great communication and documentation control skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of levels of drywall (0 to 5) is a plus but not required.
Experience in commercial construction.
Exposure to hospitality and construction management.
Understanding of safety protocols.
Work Environment
This position is onsite at the VAI Resort in Glendale, AZ, next to the Cardinals Stadium. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with a total of 50-hour work weeks. Exact start and end times are to be determined.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
