Visits shall involve pre-installation to installation and startup to providing training and instructing customer operators and maintenance teams on the safeties and the function of the equipment plus include all post install support including technical support, providing any needed service work of the equipment including emergencies and planned maintenance/upgrades. To assist and aid Engineering and Sales in connection with company line of equipment. Work shall be documented and presented in connection with all installation, service work and for the calls received to assist in troubleshooting issues. The Opportunity ... Essential Duties and Percent of Time Spent: Inspect installation and supervise equipment startups and upgrades for new and aftermarket projects along with conducting training for the production and maintenance teams 25% Field service calls to diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues and make repairs such as adjustments, parts replacements and to the timing and synchronization of equipment. 25% Complete Lease or PRoCARE service visits to perform site activities as defined to meet the agreement and of the site management objectives. 10% Assist parts department in handling telephone communications with customer concerning service orders. 5% Communicate with customers concerning problems and advice. 5% Work with Sales, Engineering, or Manufacturing regarding field requests. Advise of service problems that indicate design or manufacturing deficiencies and the like. 5% Make suggestions and recommendations tending to improvements or necessary modifications. 5% Notify customers in writing as to safety deficiencies observed on the equipment during a service call. 5% Follow up on action required after phone conversation or in plant visit. 5% Promote Service Agreements/parts sales. 5% Promote good customer relations. 5% Why work at JBT ...
