CelLink Corporation Preventative Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift in Georgetown, Texas

(2:00 pm CT - 10:30 pm CT)

$20.00/hr.(full benefits, 120hrs of PTO, and stock options)

Our team in Georgetown, TX, is looking to add a reliable and eager Preventative Maintenance Technician. This person will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and cleaning equipment and instruments for preventive maintenance programs. The PM Tech will also perform safety tests of equipment to ensure staff safety, perform preventive maintenance, and update documentation. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanic skills to learn to work on mechanical, automated, and manual manufacturing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • 1st line of defense for assuring the working condition of manufacturing equipment.
  • Use manufacturer's schematics and procedures along with CelLink maintenance procedures to perform necessary tasks within the specified time range of the equipment hours.
  • Inspect supply and return lines for leaks.
  • Flush and replace coolant on chillers if the refractometer indicates unsatisfactory condition.
  • Inspect de-energized equipment for loose wires, broken or worn parts, and cleanliness.
  • Check machine air ducts for leaks or damage.
  • Inspect all safety devices for proper operation.
  • Check hydraulic hoses, pumps, and cylinders for wear and leaks.
  • Inspect and service conveyor systems, including drive, belts, chains, pulleys, rollers, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect air shafts and lubricate or replace worn O-rings.
  • Use measuring devices to determine wear on brushes.
  • Inspect and report damaged or worn motors, encoders, or gearboxes on machinery.
  • Hand tools will be required to complete most tasks.
  • Required to read and understand fluid levels, mixtures, and filters of each piece of equipment.
  • Maintenance technicians may be requested to assist them in performing emergency or planned maintenance procedures.
  • Required to learn how to operate each piece of equipment to develop an understanding of the equipment and its function in the manufacturing setting.
