UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a Rehab Aide to join our team!
This position works directly with patients and our Physical Therapy team by assisting patients during treatment, sanitizing equipment between treatment, general clerical duties, among other responsibilities.
Certified CNA's are encouraged to apply! This is not a requirement for the position but would be beneficial.
This position is a great opportunity for someone who loves being in the medical setting, or someone who wants more experience with healthcare. No prior rehab or long term experience is required, but is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor, the Rehab Aide assists therapists and nursing staff with the provision of rehabilitative care for a variety of patients. He/She contributes to the plan of care through participation on the interdisciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
High school diploma or GED.
LICENSE:
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
One to two years in a rehab setting.
SKILLS:
Minimum :
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Preferred :
Medical Terminology course completion.
Salary Range: $17.00-$18.59
