Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AR Specialist to help clean up and streamline our Accounts Receivable (AR) department. This role focuses on credit and collections, new customer account setups, and editing existing customer accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable making calls, and proficient in Excel to pull and analyze data from various databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new customer setup process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Perform credit assessments for new and existing accounts.

  • Handle collections efforts, proactively following up on outstanding balances.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (Sales, AR, Finance) and external customers.

  • Maintain and update customer records in the system.

  • Utilize Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to analyze AR data and generate reports.

    Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel skills – experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to pull data from multiple sources.

  • Excellent communication skills – must be comfortable making phone calls and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Experience in credit and collections is preferred.
