Aston Carter Accounts Payable Specialist in Garland, Texas
Description:
- Maintain responsibility of the full accounts payable cycle, which includes:
a. 3-way PO matching process
b. Coding of general ledger account information
c. Data entry of 1000+ invoices per month
Research/reconcile invoice and PO discrepancies
Process new vendor request forms and vendor edits
Monthly expense report audit
Prepare monthly AP Metrics reports
Assist in month end general ledger entries and account reconciliation
Assist in audit requests
AP administration functions as needed
Participate in special projects as needed
Skills:
Accounts payable, analysis data, three way matching, reconciliation, research and analysis

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of Associates’ degree in Business or related discipline
3-10 years of Accounts Payable experience (Food industry experience highly preferred)
Strong analytical and research skills
Advanced Excel experience required
Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
Ability to adapt to change/quick learner
Self-motivated team player
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
