Clinical Program Manager RN - Stroke Program at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. This is a full-time day shift position.
The Stroke and Neuroscience Program Manager is accountable for the management, leadership, and planning of the clinical and operational activities of the comprehensive Stroke and Neuroscience program, in accordance with Providence Mission Hospital mission, values and program strategic plan. The Neuroscience Program Manager will work to create an environment that fosters a multidisciplinary team and collaborative approach to care that achieves operational and clinical "Best Practice." The Neuroscience Program Manager works closely with department managers, directors, and physicians and oversees the daily operations of the comprehensive Stroke and Neuroscience program. They are responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards for stroke program certification and other regulatory performance requirements for the Stroke and Neuroscience Program.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
California Registered Nurse License upon hire
Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course upon hire
Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) - American Board of Neuroscience Nursing (ABNN) within 90 days of hire
5 years of clinical experience in Acute Care including 2 years in the specialty area.
Preferred qualifications:
Comprehensive Stroke Center and Joint Commission survey experience
Master's Degree Nursing or related field. (two years from date of hire if not yet completed at time of hire)
