General Summary
Supports the Conditioning Based Monitoring (CBM) processes by utilizing predictive maintenance technologies, coordination, scheduling, outage utility requests, research, and inventory. The CBM Planner/Scheduler works closely with management and maintenance trades to improve the efficiency and reliability of installed equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying, assessing, researching, and planning the execution of work, publishing a schedule of planned and unplanned jobs during a defined period of time in order to optimize the use of resources within constraints
Report/document the status of each RPIE item monitored for each CBM technology
Coordinate with applicable Government and/or JJWWS authorities to ensure proper/required permitting and documentation is provided for approval prior to execution of work
Monitor maintenance requests and ensure work orders are processed and completed in an efficient and effective manner
Provide the Risk Prioritization Number (RPN) and RPN development process for each RPIE item with a defect to assist with prioritizing corrective work identified by CBM
Perform site inspections associated with planning and/or scheduling to accomplish planned and unplanned jobs.
Estimate material and man-hours to accomplish maintenance and minor repairs; request quotes, input requisitions in SmartsPro; may be required to convert requisitions into Purchase Orders
Coordinate with Managers, Supervisors and/or Leads to plan/schedule identified maintenance and/or repairs
Establish tracking system for CBM work orders; monitor and track to completion
Maintain facility records in SmartsPro/DMLSS in addition to reports associated with CBM
Maintain records and files documenting the warranty/guaranty program; contact appropriate entities for resolution (parts, returns, warranty labor)
Prepare all applicable forms, plans and/or coordinates Outage Requests associated with CBM
Attend formal and informal training as required
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Pevco Systems, Electrical Systems
Critical thinking skills, and proficiency with standard testing tools
Adheres to data collection/reporting schedules as assigned
Performs follow-up inspections on recently overhauled equipment
Ensures faults identified are entered into DMLSS as required and verifies accuracy of RCM-related spec data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledgeable with Blue Prints and or Architect drawings
Possess a broad knowledge of Facility Operations and Maintenance
Ability to use Engineering Performance Standards or equivalent when estimating man- hours
Experience with a Facility Computerized Maintenance Management System software (CMMS) highly desired
Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of RS Means
Work Experience
3 years Experience with CBM technologies, Inventory, and Research
Experience with Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), Business Objects, Inventory, Budgets, Contracts and Business Development
Education, Licenses and Certification
Required:
- HS Diploma or related trade school
