FRISCO I S D Bus Monitor in FRISCO, Texas

Base Salary:$15/per hour
Primary Purpose:To ride the bus and help insure students are transported safely and efficiently from one location to another. Meet and assist students with safe boarding including following all wheelchair and seat restraint guidelines. Exercise student management through communication and discipline according to school policy and report any difficulties or changes in students needs to supervisor. Maintain positive relationships with other employees, parents, and public.
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English Ability to maneuver effectively in a school bus and lift up to 30 pounds Ability to physically perform a front and back door bus evacuation and to perform CPR and first aid techniques on the ground or floor Ability to walk the equivalent of at least one mile daily
Working Conditions:Continual sitting, reaching, kneeling/squatting, and repetitive hand and arm motions. Intermittent walking the equivalent of at least one mile daily. Work outside and inside. Moderate exposure to extreme temperature (hot) and vehicle fumes. Frequent moderate lifting and carrying (up to 30 pounds). Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
