Overview
Do you want to be part of a world leading marketing and communications team within a global brand and serve as the voice of the stakeholder by supporting the head of B2B Marketing by partnering with the Sales & Acceptance teams to create marketing solutions for customers, leverage the Mastercard brand and suite of assets and platforms to deliver a consistent and differentiated stakeholder experience with key customers in Germany.
Role
• Supports the B2B Lead in delivering the issuer marketing strategy for customers in Germany, aligning with key stakeholders, including the customer marketing servicing model.
• Support the development of best in class and cost-effective B to B, and B to B to C marketing platforms which specifically deliver to key business objectives, new products, key cardholder segments and new product functionality.
• In partnership with Mastercard sales teams and other cross functional partners, form close relations with German customers, build an intimate understanding of their businesses and develop jointly agreed marketing plans designed to deliver differentiation and revenue growth.
• Deliver best in class marketing support to account teams with new business pitches, responses to RFP and RFI
• Recommends future adjustments based on results of campaign performance measurement and evaluation
• Support Marketing Issuer Committee Meetings and Board Meetings through presentations preparations, documentation and corresponding administration
Negotiate, design, implement and analyze differentiating customer marketing campaigns and activities to promote Mastercard brand and products (card, contactless/mobile, E-Commerce, SCA etc.)
Monitor customer marketing plans and support sell-in of strategic topics and Mastercard Value Proposition to our B2B Partners
increase card holder acquisition, activation, spend, card usage, cross-selling, spend, retention and loyalty
Manage creative development and assist partner communication and collaterals approval process

All About You
• Strong background in marketing, ideally where the end user of a product or service is not a direct customer. Commercially focused marketing expertise in B-2-B and B-2-C, Brand management, direct marketing and digital execution.
• Experience in driving marketing initiatives to support customer lifecycle management.
• Strong strategic skills with the ability to recognize, scope and develop opportunities into an innovative vision which challenges self and others.
• Good influencing skills to garner support and advocacy. Be able to sell ideas both internally and with customers, be able to set direction and capture the commitment of people to achieve goals as well as overcoming obstacles and taking appropriate risks
• Project management skills are a key requirement given that this role involves managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Creative thinker with a desire and tenacity to test innovative customer solutions for potential roll-out and ability to turn qualitative and quantitative data and information analysis into actionable 'insights'
• Very strong achievement drive to deliver results. Can do attitude is essential in a busy marketing environment.
