Within Sanofi`s Global Device & Packaging Unit, as project manager you will play a critical role in coordinating and deploying projects covering all aspects of device and packaging (primary and secondary) for your products in Life cycle management.
Main responsibilities:
You will coordinate the work of a cross-functional team which combines multidisciplinary functions, including GDPU and GDPQ, QA/RA, M&S Site and global functions, MSAT and external partners, assigned to the project.
With your team members, you will support the program leader in building and deploying a robust product strategy, addressing essential aspects related to Device and Packaging of the pharmaceutical product, and process engineering, project/program management, quality, regulatory and supply.
You are the front runner of the project, liaising with the team members to generate project plans that can achieve success criteria defined by the program leader and/or portfolio lead, as part of project strategy and scope, in term of milestones, budgets (Opex/capex) and product quality.
You will represent the program in all GDPU governance meetings (Science and Technical Forums, GDPU project gate meetings, …) and ensure that strategy, scope, plan, and budget, is fully understood by all stakeholders and aligned in advance of the meeting.
As an expert in the field, you understand both the technical and financial angles of the project and facilitate with the team members to definition of the best approaches to take.
Within the defined scope and strategy of your project, you are empowered to drive and take decisions.
You are expected to identify major challenges, risks and bottlenecks, and proposes measures to assure adequate mitigation.
Supported by the Program Leader and/or Portfolio Lead, you align with relevant functions (e.g. Device SMEs, M&S sites and global function, supply chain, quality) or external partners to develop and implement activities.
You will develop and maintain accurate project documentation through all phases (Initiation, Execution, Closure). Ensure appropriate change management.
Prepare regular updates and reporting to senior management on project status, progress and escalation of risks. Leads Project steer-co according to project requirements.
Accountable to plan activities, resource needs and duration and costs (Opex/Capex) into Shine.
About you
Experience & Qualifications :
Education : advanced degree desired in engineering or scientific discipline
Minimum of 5 years of drug-device combination product experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry with a demonstrated track record of success.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams in bringing medical devices projects into reality.
Strong knowledge in Components manufacturing (molding, preassembly processes), final assembly, primary containers, and packaging changes.
Experienced in operational and financial responsibilities as well as resource allocation for on time and on budget delivery.
Desired: project management certification (PMI/ PMP) or strong experience in project management
Languages : Fluent in English, French or German basic knowledge is a plus
