Excellent communicationThe primary responsibility of the Front Desk Clerk is checking guests in or out and collecting payments. Projects the high standards of the Bavarian Inn Lodge by performing all functions relating to registration and checking out of all hotel guests in an accurate, courteous, and efficient manner. In charge of the activities relating to the early Front Desk Clerk shift. Takes a roll in training all new Front Desk personnel. Must possess ability to find solutions to problems that occur during Front Desk operations. Have the ability or effectiveness in selling and presenting persuasively. Upselling must be maintained and offered. Will strive to offer the highest level of guest service offered in Michigan.
Also performs the duties as outlined in the position description the Reservationist. Performs other duties as directed by the Front Desk Manager and the Front Desk Supervisors.
