Description
We are on the hunt for a Controller to join our team in Framingham, Massachusetts. The primary function of this role lies in the healthcare industry, overseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The work environment will entail close collaboration with the CEO and CFO, managing various accounting tasks and supervising the accounting team.

Responsibilities
• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budgeting to maintain accurate financial records.
• Supervise and optimize the functions of Payroll, Senior Accountant, Bookkeeper, accounts payable and accounts receivable, strengthening cash flow and vendor relationships.
• Oversee the accounting and finance functions for multiple entities within the healthcare industry.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of monthly financial statements with accounting standards and present comprehensive reports to upper management.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and report on the annual budget and goals of assigned departments.
• Review and prepare balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journal entries, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
• Supervise and foster the development of the accounting team.
• Engage with CPA on complex transactions and items needed for the preparation of tax returns and audits.
• Utilize accounting software systems and NetSuite ERP to manage and analyze financial data.
• Apply accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), auditing, and budget processes in daily operations.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Demonstrable experience in handling Accounting Functions is essential.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is necessary.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Previous experience in Auditing is a must.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is expected.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is necessary.
