First Light Home Care On-Call Caregiver position in Fort Wright, Kentucky
This position is a Salary on-call position We are Looking for an On-Call Caregiver. Someone who will provide Great Quality Care to our Clients and Community.....The On Call Caregiver is our go-to person in the event a caregiver who is scheduled to work is unable to work. The On Call Caregiver will cover any shift that needs to be covered within the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. If more than one shift is worked in one day, Additional mileage incentives may be offered at the discretion of the Direct Supervisor.The On Call Caregiver will be on call for a full week - Monday through Friday 7 am through 7 pm and will be paid $100.00 per day. Shifts include a minimum of 3 hours to 8 hours of shift work picked up while on call. This position may require a Start of care for Clients. If more than 40 hours worked, the caregiver will be paid their regular stipend in addition to a pay rate of up to $16.00 hr. for additional hours worked.This person must be available to FLHC on their selected on-call schedule. Employees can choose 1 to 7 days on-call. Must have a Valid Driver's License, be 18 years of age or older, willingness to work in Ky and Ohio, and Have Experience in Home health care including Personal care. This is guaranteed, Stipend Pay as long as the employee complies with the rules and regulations for this position.Requirements:Must have an equivalent skillset of a HHA/CNA with 2+ years of experienceAble to do all personal care (bathing, dressing, gait belt transferring and ambulation, toileting and incontinence care, Dementia care, Hoyer Lift) plus companion care duties (meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and ability to provide transportation)Must have own transportation and car that is in good enough shape for a client to ride in it if neededMust return the call from our office within 10 minutes and be able to leave to get to the shift within the hour. Should include drive time for arrival to the client's homeCannot consume alcohol while on callIf a shift is refused while you are on call or you do not respond when you are called, you will not be paid for on-call and will no longer be employed. A base pay rate of minimum wage will be multiplied by the number of hours you worked and Paid on the anticipated Pay Day.Pass a background check and drug testHave an up-to-date TB testHave a current driver's license and car insuranceAble to lift up to 25lbs
