Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Fort Worth, Texas
Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a remote Accounts Payable Clerk in the non-profit industry, based in Fort Worth, Texas. This remote position is critial in maintainign vendor relationships, timely Accounts Payable invoice processing, accurate accounting entries, processing expense reports, and assisting with additional accounting workflow.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Maintaining detailed and correct customer credit records
• Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitoring the status and activities of customer accounts
• Processing credit card payments using Concur software
• Executing Expense Reports for payments
• Ensuring correct coding of invoices to GL accounts
• Processing billing to the State for payment
• Conducting account reconciliation and check runs
• Performing data entry tasks and using Microsoft Excel for record-keeping
• Ensuring thorough follow-up on all payable tasks.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Must have experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Runs is essential
• Ability to perform Coding Invoices is expected
• Skilled in Data Entry tasks
• Capable of Invoice Processing efficiently
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Experience with SAP software is a plus
