PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, The Logistics Warehouse Manager (TCN) manages and is accountable for the overall function of the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of construction and maintenance activities.
Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports.
Maintains inventories and completes records.
Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party rentals.
Analyzes and advises employees of operating policies and procedures.
Accountable for budget and develops employees and their skills.
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business strategies.
Job role has an impact on the business viability through personal contributions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's, 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
Specific contract requirements will prevail.
Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements.
Must currently possess or be able to obtain prior to being hired as is required for this position a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT). Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance or certification level for the duration of the task order.
