We are seeking a highly motivated and fast-paced individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Carpenter. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and work ethic, primarily working on constructing crates and wood boxes. Responsibilities include reading and following instructions, accurately measuring and cutting wood, assembling crates and boxes, and installing basic fixtures such as hinges and handles. You will use basic tools like saws, hammers, and drills, inspect finished products for quality, and maintain a safe working environment by following safety guidelines. Responsibilities
Read and Follow Instructions: Understand and use simple plans or instructions to build crates and boxes.
Measure and Cut Wood: Accurately measure and cut wood pieces to the required sizes.
Assemble Crates and Boxes: Put together wood pieces to build sturdy crates and boxes.
Install Basic Fixtures: Attach hinges, handles, and other fixtures to crates and boxes.
Use Tools: Handle tools like saws, hammers, and drills safely and effectively.
Inspect Finished Products: Check crates and boxes for quality and make sure they are built correctly.
Follow Safety Rules: Use protective gear and follow safety guidelines to stay safe.
Work with Team Members: Collaborate with other workers to complete tasks efficiently.
Maintain Tools: Keep tools clean and in good working condition.
