Summary You will serves as a Financial Technician at the GG-09 grade level in the Resource Management Office at NAVIOCOM Georgia responsible for assisting with the management control and execution of financial and resource related functions Responsibilities You will assist with account maintenance and accounting support work requiring a basic understanding of accounting systems, policies, and procedures to examine, verify, maintain, and reconcile accounts and accounting data. You will provide technical support for the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability control methods. You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided to or by the Government. You will determine pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports pertaining to civilian employees of the Federal Government. You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintain ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Assisting with analyzing non-standard financial resource related processes to provide briefings to key personnel, senior planners and consultants. Assisting with examining financial documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided. Assisting with providing routine direction to leadership and personnel regarding financial procedural and technical information.
