NJ Employer Helpers--Carpenters in Fort Covington, New York
Anticipated period of employment: 03/20/2025 to 07/07/2025
Must be able to lift and carry 80lbs/50yds. Three (3) months of carpentry helpers experience required. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable. Employer will test for drug or alcohol use upon reasonable suspicion that the worker may be affected by drugs or alcohol that could adversely affect job performance or the work environment, including safety related performance of the worker or other persons.
On farms, help carpenters erect agricultural buildings by carrying tools, wood, making simple wood cuts, nailing simple lumber pieces, assembling building components for lead carpenters and cleaning up jobsite. Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs., 50 yds. Will be exposed to heights, extreme temperature, strenuous physical activity, and repetitive motions. Proper and accurate use of tape measure required. Job requires working around livestock and the strong smell of manure. The duties described in this job order are overtime eligible at 40 hours in the workweek.
