Position Summary
The Systems Administrator II - Microsoft 365 Admin will manage and administer a variety of Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring the governance and security of the environment. This role involves developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and best practices to meet the organization's needs. Responsibilities include providing technical support to end-users, monitoring system performance, and integrating Microsoft 365 services with other enterprise systems. The successful candidate will stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
Essential Functions:
Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and support of the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other related applications
Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for the governance and security of the Microsoft 365 environment. Ensure compliance with organizational requirements
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
Monitor system performance, usage, and security. Generate regular reports on system health, usage metrics, and compliance status
Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Microsoft 365 services with other enterprise systems and applications. Facilitate collaboration and communication across departments
Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and updates. Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements
Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests related to Microsoft 365 in a timely manner
Availability for on-call escalation support may be required nights and weekends
Opportunity for cross-training in various collaboration and productivity technologies
Required Skills:
Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot and OneDrive.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and related identity management concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Preferred Skills:
- Nintex Automation Cloud, ShareGate, Power Automate, Rubrik Security Cloud
Qualifications
Required Background:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or;
Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience.
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Compensation Range:
$84,000 - 134,400
We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring equitability compensation for all employees. The pay range for this position reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, bonuses, or other forms of compensation that might be part of the total compensation package. The specific salary offered will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, education, and experience.
