About the Role

TWE seeks a passionate, collaborative, and engaging Field Marketing Manager to join our Bold Brands Field Marketing team. This role acts as the primary representative, cross functional collaborator, execution lead, and connector for the Marketing and Sales teams for the Americas across our Bold brands including 19 Crimes, Matua, Pessimist, Sterling and Gabbiano.

As a Field Marketing Manager, you’re responsible for assisting both the Marketing and Sales teams in annual planning, as well as developing, managing, and evaluating the annual Marketing plans for prioritization and execution in the assigned markets, retail partners, and on-premise accounts. This role will also communicate and sell in Marketing programs to key regions and distributors, execute and evaluate key marketing programs, and influence demand creation budget (i.e., POS, regional opportunities, etc).

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration

  • Work with the Brand, Insights, and Promotions teams to ensure that national programs have relevant support in the local market. Work to localize national programs to ensure regional adoption and create regional programs where necessary. Push for fewer, bigger, better programming across focus brands.

  • Be the conduit between sales and brand marketing.

  • Absorb local ideas for activation and provide a feedback loop to brand.

  • Monitor competitor activations in the local markets.

  • Ensure comprehension and activation of national programs at the distributor level.

  • Understand unique local market dynamics (i.e., inventory positions, key retailer needs, etc.) and assist with marketing solutions.

    Planning

  • Annual Brand Marketing Planning:

  • Provide requested (Marketing/Sales) information and POV on various elements of the marketing mix, leading to the following year’s plan(s).

  • Assist in the review of marketing strategies and suggested programming for following year’s brand plan as requested from Brand Marketing

  • Lead creation and/or updates of retailer and regional presentations

  • Regional Planning and Execution:

  • Represent Brand Marketing objectives , strategies, and national plans.

  • Work with Commercial Management team to understand key strategies and priorities, spending philosophy, and recommend priority focus and plans for the assigned region

  • Assist region in establishing annual goals as it relates to role (retail objectives, media planning, etc)

  • Key Account/Retailer/On-Premise Planning and Execution:

  • Work with key account sales leads to understand annual objectives/goals (national accounts/on-premise customers) (i.e. sales, volume, retail promotions, etc)

  • Present all support programming that is applicable to the account (include brand programming, retail promotions, sponsorships, media support, etc); develop custom programming where necessary

  • Assist with development of key presentations for focus retailers (new item pitches, etc.)

  • Understand sources of funding and responsibly allocate expenditures where necessary.

    Communication

  • Own marketing communication for Bold brands to/from regional TWE, retailer, on-premise, and distributor selling teams

  • Provide key stakeholders with relevant marketing communications via monthly calls, distributor kick off presentations and General Sales Meetings, creation of marketing presentations, on-premise RFPs, etc.

  • Represent TWE and TWE Bold brands in TWE sales, distributor, retailer, and on-premise RFP meetings.

  • Leverage performance insights into actionable selling points for the market.

  • Work with National Insights team on available syndicated data.

About You

You are a dynamic and passionate Marketing professional with 3+ years of progressive experience across Field, Trade, Customer, Shopper Marketing or similar role from either the CPG or adult beverage industry. Ideally, you have a passion for wine, a positive attitude, and meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and wine certifications (WSET) preferred.

  • Strategic Thinker – ability to understand big picture and action it; develop programming & creatively drive market execution.

  • Leadership – Is a leader within TWE and to external stakeholders for regional business and key accounts.

  • Ability to proactively drive projects and a sense of urgency with Sales, brand teams and other cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Communication Skills – Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and deliver impactful presentations for sales teams, distributor teams, customers and other stakeholder groups.

  • Commercial Acumen – Demonstrates knowledge of how to sell and market brands within the alcoholic beverage category (preferably wine, but not required) and have prior experience in Trade or Shopper Marketing, Brand Marketing and/or Sales.

  • Business Acumen / Analytical skills - Understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; aligns work with strategic goals. Able to analyze program effectiveness and manage budgets.

  • Program & Sales Tools Development – Able to develop programs and materials to meet TWE sales and stakeholder needs.

  • Efficient – must have the ability to prioritize a high volume of projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Influential – ability to influence without authority across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Constant improvement mindset and creativity: a bias toward innovation, opportunities to evolve and get better.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $107,000 to $134,000 per year and a target bonus and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work in our Florida or Texas market. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
