What Global Trade International Logistics & Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Global Trade is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
Global Trade International Logistics & Operations is responsible for managing Global Trade execution focused on compliance, delivery excellence and cost optimization. This job family implements and executes Global Trade policies and serves as primary interface to internal business operations, as well as forwarders, carriers, shippers and customs house brokers.
Responsibilities
Managing the overall detention and demurrage reduction strategy
Manage periodic reports and dashboards illustrating the detention and demurrage activity
Improve accuracy of monthly accrual processes, simplifying process where applicable
Conduct meetings with stakeholders to strategically monitor activity
Report out to senior leadership on activity and reduction efforts
Process OS&D for Replenishment Centers
Other projects and tasks as defined
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks
Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity
Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve
Applies judgment within defined parameters
Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects
Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
