Position Description

Projects can range from $10,000 to $2,000,000 in size and include various scopes of work including industrial coatings, abrasive blasting, lead abatement, liner installations, fireproofing, and other related types of work :::

Position Requirements
::: {contenteditable="false" gramm="false"} Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily management of the crew, project related paperwork, unlocking crew member's potential, and interfacing with the customer.
Foreman is expected to arrive to the work site 15-20 minutes early, to prepare daily paperwork and take headcount before shift.
Relay and ensure the JSA and toolbox talks are filled out correctly and are understood by each member of the crew.
Review and complete daily safety paperwork and place back in job book, which will be stored electronically for potential customer audits. These books are expected to be turned in after job is complete.
Communicate firmly to personnel about the importance of PPE throughout the workday and stop work and/or personnel from continuing work, until they are compliant.
Review and understand the materials to be used for the project. Ex: PDS/SDS.
Understand and manage project equipment.
Coordinate with other onsite trades, safety, and environmental personnel.
Ability to interface with clients professionally.
Communicate project scope and schedule changes to all project stakeholders.
Revise work plan as necessary to mitigate changing conditions and site requirements of the project and obtain approval of revised plans by the Project Manager or Production Manager.
Recognize and communicate out-of-scope work and schedule delays for change order opportunities.
Complete daily reports with all relevant project information of that day's tasks.
Example: Location of work that took place, material used, time spent on each task, percentage of work completed for that day, pictures and submitted at the end of day. Ex: Raken Report
Tracking of work production completed per day.
Completion of coatings reports -- attach to the daily report. Ex: Raken/True QC
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and handled appropriately.
Timely payroll submission for the crew.
Timely expense report submission.
Execute project work plans per project specific kickoff meetings held by the Project Manager and Production Manager.
Understand and manage project labor hours, also the conditions and constraints of the project contract.
Effectively communicate via written (email) and verbal (phone) communication.
Attend weekly companywide safety calls.
Attend and provide feedback with entire project team during post job "lesson learned" meetings for continuous improvement enhancements.
Attend customer specific trainings, safety meetings, and meetings/calls - (varies per customer)
Ability to navigate and use the Safety Dashboard.
