Pay based on experience. Davis County Sheriff's Office is currently hiring for Building Maintenance Worker I, II in Farmington, Utah. This position will performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties in the maintenance of County facilities and grounds. If this sounds like you, keep reading! Day to Day Duties Performs carpentry work in remodeling and maintaining facilities; builds and installs cabinets, shelves, repairs furniture; paints facilities. Assists in the following duties: snow removal, landscape maintenance, outdoor lighting, painting, carpentry, and custodial functions. Maintains equipment, saws, drills, and other equipment. Operate in a safe manner motor vehicles and equipment: forklift, tractor, mule, skid loader, gravely power broom, hand tools. Performs electrical and plumbing maintenance; installs and repairs faucets, toilets, water fountains, repairs light fixtures, switches and motors. Assists in the maintenance and repair of the heating and air conditioning systems.
