Are you ready for the next challenge in your career? We are looking for a Multi Family Accounting Manager that has the professional demeanor, drive, and ability to handle a workload while supporting multiple team members of their own.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, direction and mentoring to team members

  • Develop and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and contracts

  • Ensure that the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, budgeting and analysis performed by the team are accurate and done in a timely manner, pursuant to deadlines

  • Set-up new entities pursuant to Ownership requirements

  • Be the go-to resource for the team for technical and accounting related questions

  • Align goals of team and other departments for operational efficiencies

  • Participate in department wide strategy sessions to help achieve company goals

  • Be the liaison between the accounting team and ownership to ensure satisfaction

  • Special projects as assigned

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounting is preferred.

  • Property management industry preferred.

  • CPA License preferred, but not required.

  • Supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.

  • Ability to manage multiple team members.

  • Professional and approachable demeanor.

  • Excellent time management skills; ability to multitask.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to quickly learn enterprise software; Yardi experience a plus.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with property management team and company management.

  • Must be flexible to respond to unexpected changes in work load, emergencies, and priority situations.
