Emerald Document Imaging Warehouse Worker in Farmingdale, New York
Warehouse Workers:
One person with good inventory skills and discipline should be the person managing all inventory movement to minimize errors and shrinkage. That person should be the only one to actually touch product until it is properly accounted for in e-automate - no new deliveries or transfer of parts to tech should be allowed before the warehouse person has completed the paperwork and fulfilled in e-automate. This person would have full control over a secured receiving area and locked parts/supply room. He or she should have a computer with e-automate access and a designated printer.
Incoming shipments:
Verify carton/pallet count and condition for all incoming shipments before signing delivery acceptance. Secure new deliveries in designated area so access is limited to authorized personnel only. Unpack, count and verify that shipment matches packing list; note discrepancies and hidden damage. Record receipts accurately in e-automate as soon as they are counted-in. After recording, move product to appropriate location in secured warehouse.
Inventory maintenance:
Keep all inventory organized and secured (in the right locations, limit access by others) Transfers Pick product for transfer to tech or customer warehouse and fulfill transfer in e-automate immediately. Move product to designated location for tech pick-up.
Outgoing Shipments:
Pick and pack product per pick ticket, create packing list Process UPS, record shipping charges if applicable. Fulfill sales orders in e-automate and send invoices for all chargeables (or have admin person invoice chargeables?)
Replenishment orders:
Monitor supply and parts inventory for most used items and reorder as needed.
Damages/RTV/Lease Returns:
Process per established procedures, verify credit is received Ensure lease returns are secure and ready for pick-up
Driving/Delivery:
Clean NYS drivers license Driving of van/truck as needed Ability to secure cargo to ensure no damage in transport Forklift and pallet jack work as needed.
Physical demands
Ability to lift up to 80lbs safely or heavier weights with another team member. Ability to work standing/walking/lifting for approximately 75% of work day.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5 PM
Salary $20 Per Hour
