Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22 - $26

• Regular hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

What’s a typical day as a Delivery Driver? You’ll be:

• Accurately pulling material listed on sales orders from the warehouse stock

• Reading sales orders carefully and pulling item numbers and quantity accurately

• Completing sales order paperwork

• Shrink wrapping, bagging, protecting, and palletizing material as necessary

• Loading material onto trucks and balancing loads properly

• Securing material and equipment with straps following D.O.T. rules

• Double-checking loads for accuracy

• Safely driving trucks loaded with product and equipment to job sites

• Following all federal and state motor vehicle rules and laws

• Checking conditions of job sites before parking and parking in safe spots

• Delivering product where instructed, using care for fragile items

• Being responsible for the safety of the vehicle at job sites

• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and completing reports

• Keeping trucks clean and maintained

• Receiving incoming inventory and carefully storing material

• Assisting walk-in customers by pulling, wrapping, and loading material

• Using forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment safely

• Maintaining a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• Are able to lift and carry products weighing up to 75 pounds

• Are comfortable with repetitive and consistent handling of building materials and equipment

• Have the ability to bend, twist, reach, pull, and push as required

• Prioritize safety and follow proper lifting techniques

• Have experience in the building materials industry (preferred)
