Environmental Health and Safety Manager
Under the direction of the Plant President, the Environmental Health and Safety Manager will work closely with plant management to implement policies in addition to addressing health and safety concerns in a multishift manufacturing facility.

Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations (including OSHA).
Audit, manage and implement environmental regulatory practices in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
Coordinate and lead projects to improve key plant-performance indicators.
Prepare studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards, as well as emergency response plans.
Conduct facility safety meetings, educational programs and training sessions
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years applicable experience (environmental health and safety, management, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Experience defining problems, collecting data and drawing valid conclusions
Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer programs
Ability to handle confidential information
Strong communication skills
