Description
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team within the based in Fairfield, New Jersey. The role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will be focusing on maintaining customer accounts, processing credit applications, and addressing customer queries.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle cash receipts to ensure proper recording and tracking.
• Regularly engage with customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
• Post payments and ensure they are correctly accounted for.
• Maintain an organized record of receivables, ensuring accuracy at all times.
• Utilize the Shopify platform effectively in the course of your duties.
• Use Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage and analyze data related to accounts receivable.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed.
Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and management
• Demonstrated experience in Cash Collections
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central software
• Skilled in Cash Applications and corresponding adjustments
• Previous experience in a manufacturing industry is desirable
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in finance or related field preferred
