We are looking for a Production Controller to join our team onsite in Fairfield, CA! You will be the link between internal customers, procurement, and production teams. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that production schedules run like clockwork and deliveries are executed with precision. Your ability to monitor production, resolve material issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in maintaining the reliability of our production schedules and the accuracy of our MRP system.

What You Will Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, managing communication on production and delivery schedules, and swiftly escalating changes in orders and demand as necessary.
Monitor production execution to ensure the punctual shipment of finished products, while meticulously verifying incoming receipts in collaboration with procurement.
Proactively resolve materials issues, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to guarantee on-time delivery and bolster production schedule reliability.
Act as the key custodian of production control, providing invaluable assistance in training initiatives and meticulously maintaining the MRP system in accordance with established policies.
Compile and maintain comprehensive production reports, aiding in root cause analysis and the implementation of effective countermeasures.
Exercise oversight over inventory levels, encompassing raw materials and finished goods, to ensure optimal supply levels, actively participating in the cycle count process.
Forge a close partnership with the quality assurance team to uphold stringent quality standards and promptly address any arising issues.
Develop and uphold detailed production plans and schedules, spearheading the identification and implementation of process enhancements, while liaising effectively with suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) access.
Experience working with SAP and/or MRP software.
Qualifications We Prefer
Solid interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and influence at all levels within an organization
Solid presentation skills - able to analyze, prepare, and deliver presentations to leadership
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
CPIM training/certification
Experience working in a Manufacturing environment.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
