Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC Purchasing Specialist in Eunice, New Mexico
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Purchasing Specialist opportunity in Eunice, NM at Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.
Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be US Citizens. Work Location: On-Site at Urenco Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain "Q" Clearance.
UUSA, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico.
Job Description: Provide procurement and support in a variety of standard and specialized procurement activities. Interface with technical organizations in development of pre-procurement plans to achieve timely cost-effective procurement actions. Negotiate, place, and administer purchase orders and modifications with suppliers for complex material and service requirements following policies and procedures. Have knowledge of price and cost analysis, working knowledge of US Government policies and regulations with a preference for DOE-related experience. Utilize personal judgment when specific guidance is not provided. Participate in the formulation and review of acquisition policies and procedures. Participate in section and department-wide acquisition reviews as required. Provide post-award administration in the form of change notices and subcontractor invoice reviews and approvals.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 2-10 years of related experience Experience with SAP
