Ephrata National Bank Financial Services Sales Assistant II in Ephrata, Pennsylvania

Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the ENB Financial Advisors; coordinating work within the Department, as well as with other Departments and departments; responding to inquiries or requests for information.  

 

Essential Functions:

  • Process a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the Financial Advisors in a timely and accurate manner to include calling current clients to schedule review meetings, calling referrals to set appointments, confirm all next day appointments and manage representatives' calendars and activities.
  • Perform trades for clients who do not need a meeting with an advisor.
  • Coordinate meetings with wholesalers.
  • Act as an internal communication liaison for branch employees to schedule customer meetings. Inform the branch when the financial advisor has an appointment scheduled.
  • Participate in and support execution of all marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Ensure clients and representatives have all documents required for the Review Meeting. Prepare Review Meeting Reports and/or Account Paperwork as requested.
  • Process and Mail Applications ensuring that all required forms and documents checked, imaged, mailed and logged.
  • Open and sort all Advisor mail, log and process any business (checks, forms, etc.), document notes and/or task for Advisors within appropriate systems. 
  • Maintain Take 20 Referral Tracking program.
  • Maintain marketing materials in branches inclusive of business cards, brochures, posters, and keeping sales literature up-to-date and in-stock.
  • Maintain a full knowledge of investment products/services, pricing and internal requirements. Execute professional communications, to prospective and potential clients, that demonstrates a thorough understanding of these products and services. 
  • Maintain a working understanding of, and comply with investment policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Recommend new product and product enhancement ideas based on customer feedback, competitive situations and opportunities.
  • Contact clients on DST Vision abandoned accounts reports.
  • Use Client Relationship Management to manage customer, review Meeting Management, and prepare monthly list to call clients to arrange a review appointment.
  • Answer all incoming LPL calls, determine the nature of the call and service the call when possible; scheduling appointments, answering questions and processing service requests.
  • Prepare all documents and reports for First Client Appointments.
  • Know where the BSA notice, statement and public disclosure file is located in the department and the name of the BSA/AML Officer.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

     

Required Education, Certification and Experience:

  • Two year degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of related work experience.
  • Holds a SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 6 & 63 licenses.  
  • Hold a PA Insurance License.
  • Ability to use standard or specialized computer hardware and software packages including word processing in a Windows environment.
  • Proven skills to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, and customers.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Expected to participate in appropriate educational classes as management requires.

Supervisory Requirements:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional work environment.   This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines. Due to physical locatio of this position, phone ringing , and people conversing, it may be difficult to hear at times and therefore easily distracting.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds including standard computer and copy paper boxes, and must be able to open and close filing cabinets and drawers.  

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexibility of schedule to meet business needs is required.

This position may require travel.
