Tracking Code 217775-072 Job Description Essential Functions: * Oversee and manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. * Lead a team of AP specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance management. * Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payments. * Maintain strong vendor relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring prompt payments. * Develop and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and policy violations. * Monitor and analyze AP metrics, reporting insights to senior management and recommending process improvements. * Manage month-end and year-end AP closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting. * Collaborate with internal teams such as Procurement, Finance, and IT to streamline AP workflows. * Lead system implementations, upgrades, and process automation efforts related to AP. * Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including 1099 reporting and VAT submissions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Proven experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. * Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and best practices. * Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels. * Experience with process improvement initiatives and system implementations is a plus. * Knowledge of relevant tax and compliance requirements. * Leadership and team management. * Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Adaptability to evolving processes and technologies.
