DESCRIPTION OF WORK The responsibilities of this position are to provide accurate and efficient clerical services to the staff and Administration of the William Penn Forest District.  The Clerical Assistant 2 is the first point of contact to the District and will provide friendly, courteous services to the public.  Duties include typing a variety of letters, reports, contracts, transmittals, vouchers, and agenda in draft and final form, as well as various spreadsheet applications.  You will be responsible for accepting money for the sale of various items and will perform the timekeeper duties by entering salary and wage employee hours and leave.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time, seasonal employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch This is a seasonal, full-time position WITHOUT benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November at which time the employee is placed on leave without pay. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $18.05 (before taxes). Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
