Robert Half Financial Analyst in Elmwood Park, New Jersey

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be required to provide detailed financial analysis, prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, and assist in various division activities. The role encompasses performance analysis, profitability management, financial modeling, and budget forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, providing financial analysis through financial modeling

• Analyze current and past trends and performance of business and support units, identifying opportunities or threats to future performance

• Act as point liaison with vendors for quarterly reporting and assist in the development and management of cost accounting assumptions and projections

• Leverage data to build insights about our markets, products, and competitors

• Support opportunity evaluation, financial modeling, and business case creation

• Assist in accumulating and analyzing data for annual budgeting, working directly with senior management to formulate and review financial results

• Build and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts to support short-term and long-term strategic planning

• Participate in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) activities, including data uploading and reconciliation, modeling different scenarios for forecasts, and maintaining documentation supporting assumptions and system inputs.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) and About Time systems

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Budget Processes

• Experience with Expense Reporting and Finance

• Understanding of Banking compliance and the Banking Industry

• Proficiency in ERP Solutions. Requirements • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst for at least two years

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrable experience with CapEx

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in using About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Experience with Expense Reporting

• Strong understanding of Finance principles

• Knowledge of Banking compliance

• Familiarity with the Banking Industry

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
