Steuben Foods Inc Janitorial - 2nd Shift in Elma, New York
Work Specifications – Responsibilities:
Responsible for food safety and quality
Completes responsibilities described in the weekly cleaning schedule
Completes the posted daily log sheets for respective areas
Collect the daily janitorial shift sheets. Review for timeliness and completeness and file.
Periodically audit the quality and quantity of work being performed and discuss with the plant sanitarian.
Provide input/feedback on cleaning procedures and chemical usage.
Provide suggestions on possible improvements.
All other duties as assigned
Education/Prerequisite Requirements:
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
Equipment/Training Knowledge:
Proper use of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals –Diversey chemical training
Operation of the walk behind floor scrubber, mop and bucket, rug cleaning vacuum machines
Annual in-house skills and knowledge improvement programs
Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
Pay Range: $19.90 - $21.45
