Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler who demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with others. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being on their feet all day and willing to be cross-trained in various areas.
Responsibilities
Document received items.
Perform factory resets by manually pressing a button.
Conduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine necessary repairs.
Perform Wi-Fi tests.
Conduct elevated temperature tests.
Carry out cosmetic cleaning.
Perform cosmetic repairs.
Conduct In Process Quality Control (IPQC).
Assemble kits.
Palletize and pack out for shipment.
Ship completed items.
Scan parts at every step of the process.
Essential Skills
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable being on their feet for the entire day
Ability to work well with others
Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas
Hand dexterity
Punctuality
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with assembly, packing, and retail
Skills in repair, refurbishing, and quality inspection
Ability to use soldering tools, test equipment, RF scanners, computers, blueprints, and power tools

Work Environment
Work in a brand new facility built specifically for this purpose, featuring locker areas and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located in Elgin, IL, just north of I-90, south of Route 72, and right off Randall Road, close to gas stations and restaurants.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
