Aerotek CNC Machinist in Eldridge, Iowa
NOW HIRING: CNC & MACHINE OPERATORS
Location: Quad Cities & Surrounding Areas!!
ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE - URGENTLY HIRING 3RD SHIFT
ENTRY LEVEL TO EXPERIENCED ROLES
$16/hr - $27/hr depending on experience! - PAID WEEKLY - FULL-TIME W/ BENEFITS
JOB DUTIES:
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills and lathes
Follow blueprints and work orders
Troubleshoot and respond to breakdowns, perform basic mechanical repairs as needed
Perform quality testing and use measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to check parts
Load and unload parts, material handling duties
Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
Comply with all safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation
1+ Year of CNC OR Machine Operating experience
Can read a tape measure, use calipers and micrometers
Physical requirements: lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand for long periods of time
Blueprint reading
Able to operate a forklift, overhead crane, or hoists IS A PLUS
