Experience:
-1-2 years billing experience with an automated billing system
Education:
HDS/GED
Language:

Duties:
-Compile, compute and record billing, accounting, statistical, and other numerical data for billing purposes.
Collects, completes and/or corrects all data fields required in the system.
For assigned workload, continuously monitor the billing system for completed service
-Insurance verification
-Maintain repository of current quotes and other documents as necessary
-Respond to e-mail or telephone billing inquiries from service locations
-Maintain electronic and paper billing files
-Provide an excellent customer service to clients
-Researches and resolves claim delays.
-Submit all paper claims and supporting documentation as required
-Resolve patient complaints and requests for information
-Consistently monitors and follows up on billing problems until claims and/or invoices are resolved
-Processes any necessary insurance/patient correspondence
-Maintains confidentiality with all patient, insurance and corporation information
