Eaton Corporation Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in El Paso, Texas
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in El Paso, TX.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll do:
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This role will be responsible for all preventive maintenance schedules and corrective maintenance response as well as the maintenance continuous improvement for the fabrication and assembly machines to drive more efficiency as we ramp up volumes and bring more product lines to the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for Preventive Maintenance schedule of all pieces of production equipment in the plant.
• Reports Adherence to PM schedule, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, Downtime, Availability and work balance of technicians, Tier 1 and 2 follow-ups.
• Support ELSS / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy.
• Support/assist Technician’s group activities (repair / spare parts / support / record) production maintenance needs.
• Responsible for Hand Tools and safety devices inventory of all technicians. Update inventory and provide all needed.
• Responsible for technical development of all technicians
• Safeguard the integrity of key information, electronical, paper/binder, dead files, etc.
• Responsible for compliance with all internal and external procedures and regulations pertaining equipment maintenance.
• Implement, promote, and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents including prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules.
• Promote the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
• Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the EL Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a technical role supporting maintenance processes, manufacturing processes, or related engineering function.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a technical role supporting equipment/machinery implementations, processes, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing buildings equipment maintenance.
• Experience in new equipment introduction and modifications.
• Experience supervising projects and contractors.
• Experience leading maintenance technician teams.
