Our client, a leader in the Chemical industry, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Edison, NJ
What's the Job?
Oversee engineering aspects of assigned projects, ensuring goals and objectives are met within time and budget constraints.
Participate on project teams, providing instrumentation engineering leadership under the general supervision of a Project Manager.
Report on the status of engineering aspects of the project to the Project Manager.
Interface with the Owners Team and offshore engineering team to ensure project results.
Identify, develop, and estimate scope changes to be proposed to the team.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field from a four-year college or university.
5-9 years of experience in the Chemical industry as an Instrumentation or Project Engineer.
Broad and deep knowledge of instrumentation and engineering execution.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in Excel, Word Processing, and PowerPoint.
