The Supervisor, Inventory/Safety manages all inventory accounting of raw and finished goods, records and maintains control of all inventory imported, ensures compliance with established internal control procedures and is familiar with a variety of inventory control concepts, best practices, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for maintaining accuracy of raw beans inventory.
Conducts daily cycle counts.
Reports inventory changes via SAP.
Conducts in depth research to reconcile inventory discrepancies in SAP and physical stock locations.
Validates and executes inter-warehouse material transfers in SAP to maintain accurate inventories.
Reports damages of goods to Warehouse Manager.
Develops and monitors optimized inventory bin utilization to support logistics requirements.
Supervises repack damage process
Supervises inbound and outbound accuracy
Controls scrap and missing stock
Keeps documentation control
Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s
Committed to providing a safe food product
Works within all regulatory requirements
Safety supervisor
Safety Talks and reporting of safety functions
Safety documentation
Safety training / Forklift certifications
Fill out Accident reports and near Miss reports
About you:
5+ years in supply chain positions in leadership positions, ideally in food manufacturing
BA/BS in accounting or business preferred or 5+ years experience with emphasis on food industry desired
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
ERP or related experience needed, SAP experience is a plus
Ability to work independently, and to meet deadlines
Good communication skills
Expert knowledge of SAP and WMS appropriate modules
Leadership experience required (supervision)
Strong communication skills & customer service skills
Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
Knowledge of OSHA standards
OSHA 10hr Certification preferred
Can cope with change. Exhibits leadership and is looked to for direction
Dedicated to meet expectations and requirements of internal and external suppliers
Ability to manage at macro and micro level
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Ability to work in a team and motivate others
